Jeez. Wonder if any of this will make Pepsico sit up and take notice.  Or are we just on a path to crap food like the country they from

Saw another post last night throwing shade at Bokomo... I'm glad you're talking about PepsiCo.

If they couldn't give that dude his Harriet jet they're probably going to just withdraw ProNutro and "relaunch" in new packing knowing that most people won't be able to tell the difference anyway.

That's some really obscure PepsiCo knowledge. I don't even think that promotion ran in South Africa. Although I could be wrong since I don't really drink pepsi

There is a documentary on Netflix

article Essentially they're NOT going back to the old formula, but they'll work on the "mixability challenges"

Don’t forget they said “sorry” 😂… Knowing what I know about them, it’s sad to see that they aren’t prepared to do anything to keep the clients they have left happy.

Boycott all PepsiCo products. Hit them where it hurts

Pronutro and marmite. Perfect consistency and colour.

33

u/cardinal_cynic Gauteng 27d ago

Don't you dare come for marmite. Those are fighting words

Hey, I'm a marmite enjoyer. Just saying, you need a binding agent for the pronutro. And what better than the concentrated corpses of beer brewing mushrooms?

I mean the colouring works as well. XD

'aight, so we cool now?

plus it gives breweries a reason to start brewering again, since kids these days don't drink. so in a way it saves marmite from going extinct. potholes get filled, and we get rid of what ever that stuff in the pronutro box is. win win win.

We're definitely cool!🤝

But I'd like to meet these kids that don't drink. Sound like unicorns to me.

There are kids who give the data found in these reports, that's who you are looking for. Then there are kids who don't even know these data reports exist.

The new gens are weaklings. They are nowhere near the numbers of previous generations. Goes to show how much used to be drank. But that's a good thing in my opinion though.

Surprised no Weetbix in this recipe. Are you going gluten free?

5

u/benevolent-badger !ke e: /xarra //ke 27d ago

We want to fix potholes, not introduce razor sharp, indestructible spikes sticking out of the road. You ever try to clean dry weetbix off the bowl?

1

u/Dazzling-Read1451 27d ago

If you add enough milk it’s fine

1

u/CreativeGlamourCat Gauteng 27d ago

I just had to check this. Apparently marmite isn't gluten free!

u/Dazzling-Read1451 27d ago

It couldn’t be better but who knows after the ProNutro debacle

It seems PepsiCo may have overlooked the lessons learned from Coke's New Coke four decades ago.

Odd question is pepsico the same that make pepsi drink? If so then, I am not surprised that the Americans have to go a destory a cultural identity that used to exsisting in the breakfast bowl, why the hell did they change it? seriously if it works, just leave it... Is this Trumps way of punishing us? Let me know if you can hear this...: "Alright FOLKS we're gonna fix Pronutro, We're gonna fix it, Its gonna be the best, the best as pissing off South africans, and they are gonna love it, because it is the best, I am the best chef of pronutro, no one burns Pronutro like me and we gonna use it, use it for the bunker ballroom..." eish guys come on.

3

I don't get what's wrong with ProNutro? or marmite, I love both of those haha

7

u/CreativeGlamourCat Gauteng 27d ago edited 27d ago

Have you tried the new formula?

15

u/Aardwolfz 27d ago

I had it this morning to see what the fuss is about. That shit's not pronutro anymore. If it was a new brand, I might not hate it, but having grown up on pronutro, I am finishing this box and then I don't nintend to ever eat Pronutro again.

Besides, it hasn't been an affordable breakfast cereal in years, how has the 'end hunger' cereal become more expensive than most other alternatives?

4

u/Delicious-Elk-8982 26d ago

I love both too but they've changed the formula its disgusting.

The new taste, smell and texture is so bad... I dont think they tasted it before boxing it up and puting it on the shelf...

Im pretty sure it used to be vegan now its not, my niece has a ton of really bad allergies pronutro was one of her safe foods, not anymore.

u/Great-Layer2765 25d ago

I don't think PepsiCo gives a shit tbh.
