My uncle was friends with the guy from Pumpkin Patch who played Uncle Bill. I remember being about 8-10 and being very confused when Uncle Bill was at my cousin's house one random evening.

Wasn't there a bit of contreversy with Uncle Bill? I seem to recall him being fired or something for sleeping with one of the cast.

If there was, it never reached the family's gossip circle... at least not the talk I heard. And they can skinder, which makes me question if it really happened.
