Professional Development CDCA-Pre for Practicum

My practicum location (residential substance use treatment) is requesting I get my CDCA-Pre prior to starting next fall. I’m doing the ceu program. Is it vital to take meticulous notes of this stuff or should I just read through the material? I am fine doing either but I am looking for specification on what the expectation is with this.

Learn the core principles, accentuate strength based things, and harm reduction. Your decision to do a practicum in residential will pay you so many dividends. You'll learn more than most.
