All Hi. I'm Coney, Smash enthusiast/Smash bad boy/Smash heartthrob. AMA

Hey. I'm Coney. If you play Brawl, you probably know me for my DDD. If you play Project M, you probably know me for my Wario. If you play Melee, you probably know me for being GimR's weird roommate.

I've been playing Smash since 2009, starting with Brawl, moving onto PM, and now finally to Smash 4, with a tiny gap in the middle to take a shot at playing high-level League of Legends for realzies.

Lately, I've been taking a small hiatus to pursue my other love (stage acting), but I'll be coming back at Smash 4 strong in February. A few weeks ago I got 13th/128th at my first Smash 4 event at Xanadu, the fifth or sixth time I picked up the game. After an insane amount of donations (shoutouts to the ever-affluent donators, you guys are insane), I was also able to order a capture card to be able to stream For Glory and matches with viewers very soon. I hope to be coming back to edge my way back into the commentary game as well so really, just expect to see me more, for better or worse.

Until then, if you're interested in Project M Netplay or really just gaming in general, I play a variety of stuff on my stream below. Sometimes it's PM, sometimes it's Binding of Isaac, sometimes it's something sp00ky, and sometimes it's a pigeon romance simulator. So come chill.

  • If someone created a version of melee with wario in it and it became tournament legal would you play? and why?

  • Just ketchup, mustard and cheese usually. Dream burger has a fried egg and onion straws also.
  • I'm honestly not sure. Wario gets destroyed by spacies so I'm sure he'd probably suck in Melee, but it'd be fun to play. PM Wario is my favorite character to play in any Smash game ever I think.
  • The entire Halloween Xanadu. Coming back from a long hiatus, winning the costume contest, then the tournament.
  • Getting double elim'd by Diddy at like, four events in a row. Stupid.
  • Don't know yet. I don't like the idea of 2 stock but think 3 stock would go on way too long. Stay with 2 stock for now but things might need to change.

Neat. Is the double elim'd by diddy spread over pm and smash 4 or just one of them?

Just PM, I've only entered Smash 4 tourney so far. Elim'd by 6WX (Sonic) and Pink Fresh (Peach). 6WX was a complete wash, I got destroyed, but my set with Pink was really really close.

I think I can realistically get top 5 at Xanadus already, so the only way to go is up.

aye, everything should work out. Thanks for answering, figured i should take the time to thank you for being the realest smasher out there - super down to earth and chill, qualities that some people seem to lack nowadays by either being too expressive or too reclusive. Props to you :P
