Melee Hi, this is Fly Amanita. AMA!

Evening,

I'm an Ice Climbers main in Melee who has been in the smash scene since 2007. I recently placed top 8 in EVO and have some other decent recent tourney performances as well. I could say more, but I figure it's better to let you ask about what you want to know instead of typing a fragmented mini-biography, so ask away!

You should release an Ice Climber tutorial vid! That's if you're interested. I know it'd be awesome if there were more Melee IC mains. Players tend to gravitate more towards videos than threads with tons of information for some reason.

I'm open to it, although my preference is the opposite. I'm more comfortable with text alone, but I do have recording equipment and could conceivably do more than just write walls of text.

PLEASE YES!!! I've been looking to get into IC's for ages now! I can never break the initial learning curve... Tutorials would go a long way to both IC's players such as myself and probably even long term ones.

Also, if you are going to do this, where might you upload these Video's too? Or would you go down the streaming route? Either way could you link us to the appropriate place please :)

Please it would be amazing!!! I play Falco, Bowser, and Captain Falcon, and have been trying to pick up IC's for a few weeks. A tutorial from Fly Amanita, THE SO-PO would be amazing!

I would love for you to make a "Fly Amanita's Ice Climbers tutorial". Kind of like Ken's Marth tutorial.

If you don't want to record your voice, you could always just have text to go along with footage of you playing. Maybe something like this but for IC's.

Visual learning over reading. helps in numerous ways for actually seeing how a technique should work, rather than just reading about it and getting a skewed idea

Please include a hand cam. It's easier for me to pick up stuff when I can see the rhythm of it.
