[Melee] Hi, I'm Dr.Peepee, ask me anything!

Hey guys, I was asked by Prog to make this post, and it sounded pretty fun so I decided to do it. I love talking to people and about smash so this is right up my alley haha. Like the title says, ask me anything!

If you wanna get more technical, be sure to watch the Advanced How to Play Videos, and practice! Practicing fixes everything as long as you practice right and practice hard.

Yeah I know MI definitely has lots of big tournaments and Ohio has something of a scene I'm pretty sure. Hit up smashboards.com to find more players near you if you wanna start playing!

You need to narrow down your list when learning the game because that many characters will confuse your hands and brain. Melee being a really hard game isn't going to do you any favors there either haha. Pick 1-2 of those guys and start practicing with em.

I'm sure Mango would do one of these if asked. Who knows who else would do this haha

Dthrow is techable by everyone but Fox so the shine isn't guaranteed then.

Try DJ Dair'ing when you're by the edge more. Also, try switching between jumping towards the stage and away from it slightly when recovering and mixing up when you do side B/up-B.

It's okay to Dair offstage as long as you don't FF and it's not YS and you Dair early. But yeah sometimes if people make it offstage and you can Dair but not without waiting it's better to just edgeguard them regularly instead of die.

Thanks dude!

And idk how to use this site at all haha I made my account at the beginning of this AMA haha

Well if you can make it work, then go for it. Just keep in mind that the more technical you get with each character the more your muscle memory will have to keep up with(most can't handle it.)

Hold B when shining to still jump out of it! Other than that work on your DI so you don't get sent too far offstage haha.

And good call I may just do that, thanks!
