[Melee] Hi, I'm Dr.Peepee, ask me anything!

Hey guys, I was asked by Prog to make this post, and it sounded pretty fun so I decided to do it. I love talking to people and about smash so this is right up my alley haha. Like the title says, ask me anything!

Hey Dr.PeePee! First of all thank you a lot for doing this (go reddit)! Your answers so far are very detailed and informative!

-What do you think about Armada and Mango? I know you beat Mango at KoC, but will you beat him again? And you haven't beaten Armada recently, so I bet you really want to prove yourself at Apex! Oh and I know for a fact that you will beat Javi ;) (or what do you think?)

-How do you practice other than playing matches? What certain things do you practice with your friends? What do you practice alone? What's your routine?

-What are some pitfalls at improving, what are general tips you have for getting better at the game or what are the most important things to focus on?

-I've seen you whip out your Marth against Mew2King at Zenith, it seems to me it has a lot of potential, would you consider having Marth as your true second character? You say you rarely use him at tournaments...

Sorry for the many questions, but you are probably my favorite smasher and I hope you will win Apex 2013! Long live Melee!

Glad you're enjoying the AMA!

-Those players are very talented, but if I prepare well and stay focused then I have complete faith in my ability to win. I feel like saying much more will be johns so please forgive the shorter answer =p (I'm def beating Javi easy btw)

-I scour Youtube for my habits and trends over time, as well as those of my opponents. I also have my own theories which I toy with on my own and with a select few others to help improve my overall game.

I practice just playing and different matchups with my friends, and my routine is kinda wordy. Basically, I treat Melee like exercise. I warm up slowly and speed up and go hard and then do slow motions when I get tired. Depending on time/my mood I may speed back up and slow down again and again for endurance training.

-If you wanna improve, learn to take advice.
Learn to steal from other players, better or worse than you. Learn to consider the opposite of what you're doing.
Master all of your options.
Think about the game and play it a lot to stay good and keep improving and getting ideas.

these are some great ones that I've learned over time

-I want to have Marth as my real secondary eventually, but good experience is hard to come by here in NC, and my Falco can handle most problems well enough. I plan to keep improving my Marth and see if I can reach that future eventually.

Melee is too good, and thank ya!
