Questions [q] Is this studio ghibli song book official?

I often see the Best Stories book being recommended on Reddit but that one’s missing the newer movies. I saw this advertised as the newer version of that book in the store but couldn’t find much information online. Appreciate any help!

There is no such things as "official" sheet music. There is no way a film composer types an easy solo piano transcription, it isn't worth his time.

Image search of the cover picture says it's kmp, a Japanese publishing house. The publishing house bought a Jasrac license, hired transcribers, printed it.

Oh I was under the impression that Best Stories was arranged by the composer himself and since this book was listed as a newer edition of that book with newer movies included I thought maybe it was also arranged by Joe Hisaishi.

What's the publishing info for the book? Do you have access or Is this an internet photo from eBay?

I took this photo in a physical store. I forgot to get a picture of the other side but i went on the bookstore’s website and the publisher is listed as "KMP ケイ・エム・ピー".
