Sewed This a circus of firsts!

took on a lot of sewing challenges that used to make my palms sweaty:

  1. welted pockets
  2. hong kong seams
  3. front zipper on a quilted piece

i thought my little machine was going to stroke out. we did it!

if i can do it, you can do it! i watched about 30 youtube videos until i found one that explained it in a way that made sense. and then i practiced a few times on scrap fabric before cutting into the front (the scariest part!!)

I have the grace pattern jacket, with dolman sleeves. It’s all quilted and ready for welt pockets. I am going to find videos to watch and I have practice fabric.
