I was denied disability (first attempt) but think I'm stabilizing... Thank you, abilify. The constant hunger is still a battle but I've actually managed to lose some of the weight I put on since resuming it so that's good. My doctor and family think I should get a lawyer and appeal the decision rather than go back to work, though, since the stress might throw my recovery off. That and my chronic migraines are still untreated... We've been discussing botox but it's crazy expensive so I probably need to get on disability first. Positive symptoms are quiet at the moment, I'm just extremely depressed. And my laptop screen shat itself just now, I don't know if I'll be able to get that fixed. My phone is okay for reddit and email and such but I need my computer, haha. Oh well.

I hope you guys are doing well.

I'm sorry you were denied disability. Great that you've lost some weight, I wish I was able to lose weight when I was on abilify :(

I think appealing the decision is a good idea.

big hugs I hope things get sorted out with your laptop. Any idea what happened to it?

Thanks. I've only lost 6 lbs but I was steadily gaining since I started just like last time I was on it, so I'm glad it's going the other way now. Even if I'm still hungry all the time.

Disability wise I don't know where to start with an appeal, especially without a computer to look for lawyers or file/get the right forms. I'll have to haul out and hit up the library this week for some research. My laptop needs a new vid card which means replacing the whole logic board which means $$$ I don't have. :/

How are you?

My anxiety has been really bad lately. And my mood has been swinging back and forth a lot. We just upped my lamotrigine starting today, and I've been switched off ativan to clonazepam starting today as well. I'm hoping the new mix helps.

That sucks you need to replace the whole logic board. :(

Yeah, it's integrated. I'm not a happy camper.

Good luck with the med changes... I used to be on both of those (lamotrigine and clonazepam) but have since swapped them out. I hope the new doses work for you. Lamictal is a good stabilizer ime.
