General Discussion Season 9 ep2 Spoiler

Post image

SPOILERS

i actually loved being reminded that rick is an old man like all the stuff he did in the ep was old man stuff.

I loved rick interacting with "normal" people and the little love story plot was cute

I did feel like it referenced some movies but i cant rmemeber what. But it felt similar

Anyway! TEDDDDDDDD

we heart ted.

Better yet it seems even though "ted" is just rick with no memories it is shown he is still a genius and that is fun to see

Also love to see the pool being mentioned when did that happened. We know it was there in ep 1 so FUN CALL BACK ALREADY!!!

Oughhh i love ted / vacation rick his so fun and its so refreshing to see!

This ep is a banger and compared to ep 1 i did find myself enjoying it more

10/10 ep

There is nothing to hate about this ep like it is truly the best.

Absolutely agree. Mind boggling to see people say this is a 10/10. They think this is Ozymandias? This episode isn’t even Vat of Acid lol.

I’m glad people enjoyed it, I’m just bewildered at how people are overrating the hell out this episode because we had a sad boy moment at the end. If you’re not going to advance the plot or character, AT LEAST show us a new concept. It’s so unoriginal that this isn’t the first time he lost his memory (Rick and Relaxation). Hell, they couldn’t even write him losing intelligence because The Whirley Dirley already did that. We are repeating ideas

I don’t think you’re accounting for taste and personal preference in your above statement. You’re boiling it down to “sad boy moment” because that’s all you got out of it. Some might get more

I am actually, I think I’m being very fair to the episode. If you or anyone else thinks it’s a 10/10, cool. I don’t think it’s Ozymandias and I challenge you to make that argument. Tell me why this is a 10/10

I couldn’t because I don’t see this as a 10/10 episode. I very much enjoyed it but if someone wants to rate it 10 who am I to question that? Taste is taste

Okay so what is the point of this conversation? I’m genuinely asking because it’s already understood between us that we all have our own opinions. And I disagree with anyone who rates it a 10, that’s my opinion.

So what else? You’re telling me stuff I already know. You wanna talk about the episode or are you here to defend people’s right to an opinion which was never in jeopardy? I only wanna discuss why I think the episode is overrated
