i actually loved being reminded that rick is an old man like all the stuff he did in the ep was old man stuff.

I loved rick interacting with "normal" people and the little love story plot was cute

I did feel like it referenced some movies but i cant rmemeber what. But it felt similar

Anyway! TEDDDDDDDD

we heart ted.

Better yet it seems even though "ted" is just rick with no memories it is shown he is still a genius and that is fun to see

Also love to see the pool being mentioned when did that happened. We know it was there in ep 1 so FUN CALL BACK ALREADY!!!

Oughhh i love ted / vacation rick his so fun and its so refreshing to see!

This ep is a banger and compared to ep 1 i did find myself enjoying it more

10/10 ep

There is nothing to hate about this ep like it is truly the best.

Ted froze time just like EM did last week, waiting for that to come up and Rick have no memory of it.

I am not sure if he really freezed time. Look closely, the deer still moving

I took the deer still moving more as an omen, in a way like either someone else powerful enough to keep moving through time was there, or something about that deer was so special that it could do that, or it was a manifestation in Rick's mind.

But also, Rick can freeze time and allow whoever he wants to still move, as in S2E1, which would point to psychological something or other.

Different device from the one he used in season 1. leaning more on him only freezing those guys since they are filled head to toe with his technology. Ricks dont to time stuff 🥴

I never took the time travel thing at face value,, though. I don't take much of anything at face value, tbh.

I see it as he would only use it if he HAS to. Time travel comes with a lot of complications in verse because of the whole time police stuff. Using it on them wouldve been such a waste of time
