I think they just got really lazy with the animal aspects of her design because they initially didn’t think she’d be anything more than “margarets friend” when they started out
That’s crazy considering the fact that Eileen became the best female character in the show. Shes super kind, and she really seems more fleshed out than Margaret and CJ who mostly are just Mordecai’s romantic interests. Eileen is also smart, gave Rigby lots of great life tips, and was in the space episodes.
