Can someone help me identify these editions of Daughter of the Samurai and Daughter of the Narikin?

I haven't been able to find any information on these copies anywhere. They're really cool! Does anyone else here have copies like these?

I’m not an expert in datebooks (as in I’m not a seller), but what I can tell you is that what you have is unique, and probably valuable due to the beauty and the content of the texts.

I’d be curious as to what others say. I do think you’ve got something really special (due to the fact that 1926 is three years before the Great Depression, and the 1932 date means the publisher also had to be truly struggling. It was right after one war ended and before the next war started. So significant!

Edit: also, plain overall beauty and quality. I’m curious, where did you find them?

I found them at half price books. I actually work at one and I had been asking my manager for months to price them for me. He couldn't find them anywhere, so he slapped a random price on and I got them for $15 each. Someone sold them to us along with some other interesting old books, but these were the ones that really stood out to me, as well as an old copy of "The Heart of Nami-san"
