We poorly emulate doing things because someone else poorly emulates doing things they read or heard about from a particular time and place in the industry which doesn't apply to everything after it for all time despite some management clown insisting it does

I haven't seen any specific right model. Developers are using and changing models based on requirements, and also sometimes changing in the middle of phases.

Every user story ticket is a waterfall. A sprint consists of a number of tickets the team is confident in. So in a way, it's true.

I think the meme means it the other way around. Not every ticket is a waterfall but in one sprint they do only analysis in the next only design etc.

At my job we tell the customers we work in agile because it sounds fancy but in reality it's just waterfall 🫣
