I'd prefer totally new or "remixed" characters. I would also drop pink from the line up and have both black and green instead. Not for gender reasons. I just think that pink is too close to red, especially given the in-lore reason for color-coding them at all.

I'm going to answer in the poll soon but if I were in charge of Power Rangers these are my direction.

Either one, a complete reboot with either no reusing of previous characters names or actually reuse the characters names but mismatch them, something like Transformers. We have hundreds of characters in the Power Rangers mythos and thousands if not millions of cast combinations you can do.

For example, have Lauren, Jason, Ashley, Ziggy, and Dillion as the main cast for one series that last 3 seasons. Then the next show could be either a different cast completely, new iteration or connected to the previous show or keep one to three of those members and that new show will be a new iteration with no connection to the previous show. That what I'm going for.

This logic goes to villains as well. Imagine a Zedd being pair with Venjix or Rita with Xandred.

As you see, I sticking to the same show for 3 seasons/years. I love the Dino Fury saga cause we stick with them longer as they developed and even having new arcs come the 3rd season Cosmic Fury. Something it done better, narrative wise, than all of the Zordon era. I feel it will also help keep these characters in the audience minds instead of tossing them away after 1 year/season likely never to be see again like with the Disney era/Neo Saban era due to team ups infrequency.

Cinematography wise, I like to go back to Saban era. Something about that era felt much more realistic looking. Especially Lost Galaxy to Wild Force. RPM also have that vibe.

Plus, while they may reuse the some sets and props, I doubt it cost and time friendly to change props every 1-2 year. Three seasons give some breathing room.

Yes, I will change up team colors dynamics though will always have a Red and Blue Ranger. I feel those two are essential colors for the brand.

MMPR is the path of least resistance and is the most well-known version of Power Rangers and therefore the only brand of Power Rangers to lure in normies. It just needs better writers unlike the ones who eventually made Madame Web and Morbius.
