Length shortening?

I’m 6.5” inches and maybe I’m just insane but I’m unhappy with my length. A lot of underwear is uncomfortable and even going up in two sizes I usually don’t fit in the pouch. A lot of pants are difficult to fit into as well. I can’t maneuver my dick out of my fly easily when peeing and I feel very uncomfortable that people may see my size at the urinal. It just doesn’t feel “right” to me and I know dicks come in all shapes and sizes but I feel really disconnected from my dick because it just doesn’t feel proportionate to my body (I’m 5’ 4” on a good day lol)

I see a lot on here about debulking girth, but hardly anything on length shortening. My surgeon said he’s never done one before but that he doesn’t see why he can’t do it with glans. My question is, what exactly does that entail? I’m trying to figure out how invasive of a procedure it would be. I imagine they have to reconnect nerves/vessels? What was your recovery like? How big is the scar? How much did you remove?

I also feel easily disconnected from my dick due to feeling "too big". I feel having something that's believably in the range of "large flaccid" would be better, I don't want to turn heads, and my brain feels like it doesnt 'pass' as a natal dick as well due to its current size.

For a length reduction, generally it's just removing a postion from the tip, then resuturing the tip closed in a similar way to how it's closed in the initial shaft creation surgery. Nerves/vessels don't need to be reconnected.
The scarring will be the same as when you had shaft creeation and that portion was closed.

My own surgical team states they can do glans at the same time of a shortening no problem. Recovery is probably similar to the recovery of a glansplasty alone.

Due to my tight meatus, my team is gonna do a shortening in my next surgery by pinching some length in from the base, which I haven't read about anyone else doing. But even with that, it's not gonna severe the internals, just excise some skin around the scar line and kinda tighten some things up a lil. I have glans already, and they finally healed not-flat this time, so I'm glad to nto have to redo it lol.

Yes, my team said this can be done with glans too, although they’ve never performed one before. It looks like I may need a stricture repair now too so hopefully they’ll be able to do all 3.
