Pescara airport transfer

Hello everyone,

We are 2 adults and one small child (2.5 years old) travelling to Pescara at the beginning of July, and we need to get from Pescara Airport to our hotel in Silvi.

Could you please advise what the best transportation option would be? Since our child is still very young, we are considering a private transfer with a child seat included.

If you have any recommendations for local transfer companies, reliable taxi services, or even good public transport alternatives, I would really appreciate your help.

Grab a Taxi, unless you'll need a rental during your stay in Silvi. The airport and Silvi marina are not very well connected.

For public transport it depends what time you arrive at the airport and where in Silvi. Cause if it's at daytime there is a specific bus that links Pescara airport to Pescara station and then from there you can easily take a train to Silvi, which is convenient if you're not too far away from that station.

You could even exit the airport and if you cross the road there are a ton of public busses that will end in Pescara station (it's the last stop for most of them). But not if you arrive at night. You can rent cars right outside of the airport but I don't know how it works, I'm sure you could find a taxi outside of the airport but I don't know how expensive it might be.

There is a bus between airport and train station. From there you can take a regional train to Silvi. Alternatively you can take a taxi or rent a car

Have you checked already with your hotel if offers a transfer. The distance is around 20 km.

A taxi will be a bit expensive, and is not so easy to get through Silvi (as the driver should come back to their working area as well).

Try to rent a car, from the airport you can take the fast route (asse attrezzato) which is free of charge, to the last exit of Montesilvano, then go to Silvi. The road is pretty much straight, it's kind of impossible to get lost.
