This is a great build imo. The 5070 ti is a great card if you care a lot about Ray tracing and dlss, when buying asus you usually pay just a tiny bit extra for the brand buy asus is still a great brand. The 990 pro usually comes with dram which is super useful and is in general a good ssd and with today's prices the price of the ssd isn't all that bad. The aio is better at keeping the cpu cooler than an air cooler but the lifespan is a little lower than air cooling. Having RGB is purely a preference as some like it and some not but dont let that other guy discourage you, as I can see that this will be an amazing build. I know you said to ignore the case and license but I do agree that you could've saved that money when you could've gotten windows for free. The case is also an excellent budget friendly choice. You could've maybe saved a little by getting a lower watt psu but your current one has better future proofing for future component upgrades.

All in all I know this is gonna be a great and awesome build.

Congrats on the start of the build, amazing performance selections!

I built almost the same PC in December. Serves me very well since then. Congrats! ๐Ÿคฉ

people saying wasted hella money are just dumb, sure 100-150 difference ( i asume) but thats it. and it has pro's too if you want to use those nvidia features. the biggest thing is buying a boxed win11 copy haha , good looking setup mate. you might also want to buy some new bedsheets soon, these look like their nearing the end

Yao I've started a YouTube channel and I'm gonna unboxing so many gadgets and sooner I'll do a gaming bedroom makeover video but that's gonna take a little bit of time

Good luck with YouTube bro

Ignore the guy saying you should've gotten the 9070xt never buy amd if you can afford nvdia its the inferior gpu in every regard and I would never buy an amd gpu again. Nvdia 5090 Fe owner

2

u/potruss 3d ago

The 9070xt is on par with 5070ti in every bench mark (performance fluctuates in different games). Your personal bias does not change facts. The 5070ti is overpriced for its performance.

2

u/DecentProperty7266 3d ago

Amd are and always will be a step behind. Nvdia software makes all the difference dlss adoption makes all the difference. Nvdia has the better software stability and you really do get what you pay for the only people who should get amd are people on a strict budget or people who cant afford Nvdia

3

u/MouseHunter7711 3d ago

In raw performance nvidia is better, but price-performance is a category nvidia has never heard of. Especially newer cards are horrible in price-performance. Amd isn't a step behind, they just know what p-p is

1

u/DecentProperty7266 3d ago

The only people who care about that are Amd fans id pay extra for better software and a better experience

1

u/MouseHunter7711 3d ago

You are willingy wasting money for nothing great job

1

u/DecentProperty7266 3d ago

Its not for nothing its because I want the best experience and I prefer nvdia in every way its called preference

0

u/MouseHunter7711 3d ago

Except raw performance and the software that you use once every quarter year, what else is this "best experience"

1

u/DecentProperty7266 3d ago

Bro you sound salty if youd tried both youd understand i have had both sides and I have a 5090 Fe now and nvdia is just seamless there's a reason why they're always on top

2

u/MouseHunter7711 3d ago

Idk what I would be supposed to feel. Amd is seamless and I've had no big problem, is nvidia 100% perfect?? I doubt that. Ofc if you have a 5090 you won't find a more powerful card, but if you need that much power I honestly question your finacial decision but who cares it's your money that you are wasting on nvidia

Typically I agree with this, but the last 12-15 months the Nvidia drivers have been worse then I can ever remember. I do remote IT work, and fixing Nvidia driver related issues went from 10% of my tickets, to 25-30%. It broke games, it broke applications, it occasionally would break windows (when windows isn't breaking itself). I run a 5070ti and have been staying with a very old driver for months now.

Wow, you sound a bit angry and offended. I thought this is an objective sub and not nVidia circlejerk.

2

u/AdstaOCE 3d ago

Wasted a hell of a lot of money.

3

u/Fun-Froyo3007 3d ago

Why bro

-7

u/AdstaOCE 3d ago

5070TI instead of the 9070XT, the 9070XT is often ahead in raster and light RT not behind by much in heavier RT and is hundreds less.

ASUS, don't think I have to say more than that.

AIO, which is less reliable and more expensive than air cooling.

RGB fans

Usually a 990 pro is quite expensive compared to other similar SSDs, same with the memory. But with pricing how it is they could easily be the cheapest right now so hard to tell if that's bad or not.

Buying windows when you can use it free with a cheap USB.

u/GeekyNick91 3d ago

Such a strange thing to say about the gpu.

Without knowing the exact use case of the pc.

Some people do more than just gaming and stuff that requires cuda cores.

3

u/Fun-Froyo3007 3d ago

Yeah bro

-5

u/AdstaOCE 3d ago

In gaming or other workstation type applications that don't use CUDA it's around the same if not better for hundreds less. It makes a lot of sense. The only way it doesn't is if OP knows they need CUDA.

3

u/GeekyNick91 3d ago

And again you have no clue what ops use case is. So you are very Judgmental.

0

u/AdstaOCE 3d ago

So because the 99% would be fine I should assume they're in the 1%?

3

u/GeekyNick91 3d ago

Yes, and besides if op is doing things that required cuda or not some people prefer Nvidia for what ever reason.

Including myself due to bad experiences with amd Gpus๐Ÿ˜‰

1

u/AdstaOCE 3d ago

lmfao

1

u/Swolm 2d ago

Haha rip karma

6

u/Ben_Nevi 3d ago

Honestly. You mostly sound jealous. And choosing a 5070ti over 9070xt is reasonable choice if you have the funds.

-2

u/MouseHunter7711 3d ago

No amd is just better at price-performance. Why would you waste money just because you have it

3

u/Ben_Nevi 3d ago

Because I have something that's called "disposable income". And I can do whatever I want with it.

0

u/MouseHunter7711 3d ago

Hmmm

1

u/Swolm 2d ago

Haha amd is trash no support for dying light 007 cuz only like 6 percent of the market is amd๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ. Lag and stutters in forza on amd cards. Drivers getting deleted on windows update, list goes on. Theres a reason people buy nvidea. Superior upscaling and better ray tracing and path tracing. Yr just jelous u can afford a 5070ti

Tell me your entire hardware knowledge comes from TikTok memes without telling me your entire hardware knowledge comes from TikTok memes. ๐Ÿ’€

  1. 6% Market Share? Try closer to 15% on desktop. And if you count PS5, Xbox, and the Steam Deck, AMD literally powers about 80% of the entire gaming industry. Developers optimize their engines for AMD architecture first because thatโ€™s what consoles run on.

  2. 007: First Light: A game having Nvidia-exclusive launch marketing isn't "bad AMD support," itโ€™s just corporate bribery. Meanwhile, AMD cards still push brute-force native FPS in that game for a fraction of the cost.

  3. Forza: Imagine using Forza as your example. Itโ€™s built on a Microsoft engine optimized directly for the Xboxโ€”which runs on AMD. Forza has historically run like butter on Radeon cards. If you're stuttering, the problem is sitting between your chair and your keyboard.

  4. Windows deleting drivers: Thatโ€™s a known Microsoft Windows Update bug that overwrites drivers, and it happens to Nvidia users too. If you don't know how to uncheck a single box in your Windows settings, maybe stick to a Nintendo Switch.

Have fun flexing your overpriced 5070 Ti. I'm sure those 12GB or 16GB of VRAM will feel super 'premium' in two years when next-gen textures start turning into mush. But hey, at least you can watch your game crash in glorious Path Tracing!

Yes this is ai Yes I know itight be wrong in some minor infos No I didn't do any research myself on these facts Why? I'm just fed up with those old clichรฉes of people thinking "what's new can't be good"

1

u/Fun-Froyo3007 3d ago

And for your kind information I didn't buy this parts recently I've brought this parts before the price goes far beyond than getting them and then I've got so lucky to have a major accident and finally now I've gotta chance to build this beast

1

u/Remote_Reflection_61 3d ago

So.. how much did it cost?

1

u/TallAssociate7214 3d ago

If that is an x3d CPU I would return that mobo unfortunately. Asus and Asrock have been killing x3d cpus at a high rate. They said they fixed it but it's not

1

u/SquareAssignment476 3d ago

Very good, PSU massive overkill tho, 850W would've been plenty of headroom. Otherwise solid choices. Ryzen 7 may have been an overkill too, but I don't know what you use it for, I can't see the model, is it an X3D model?

u/AFreshHotBun 3d ago

Itโ€™s going to look & perform amazing. Just the windows key box, could have gotten a way cheaper copy online. But please post the finished PC.
