Seeking advice: research build
Hi,
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/KjTrDw
From UK. Currency-£
Budget: \~£6000 as in the PC part picker and cheaper if possible.
I am hoping to make this build for developing VR based stress paradigms for mental health research and EEG- MRI analysis at a later stage. Any Ideas on what can be improved and if I can cut costs somewhere. I don't care about aesthetics, the focus is on performance.
Also is there a cheaper mesh or metal alternative for O11 dynamic Evo (RGB version) which is cheaper and has better airflow? It is perfectly fine if the case doesn't have tempered glass and is metal or mesh instead as long as it doesn't allow dust to enter and has superior cooling to the selected case.also should have 420mm radiator space at top for AIO cooler.( I have decided on the 420 mm version of ARCTIC Liquid Freezer pro III. the model I found of O11 dynamic evo on amazon for ~139£ is the RGB version which seems to have space to accommodate the 420mm . It is this version of the case that is not listed on the pc part picker hence i can't put the 420mm AIO on the part listing so a 360mm is listed insted.)
My current plan for the fan placement is:
Top: 420mm AIO radiator (exhaust)
Bottom: 3x140mm (intake)
Side: 360mm gpu lC radiator (intake)
Rear: 1x 120mm (exhaust)
This will be from my savings as I am still working to get research funds.I plan to get the setup without the GPU and then save and buy the GPU eventually.
Thank you for your kind advice.
Regards
