tips?

hi guys i am new to off shore fishing i go to the little antilles to sail for 7 days i think i will use 1 30-50lb rod with a PENN Squall II Level Wind 30 and one 15-30lb rod with a Daiwa BG 6500 i will mostly use thes for trolling but if i see a school of fish i will use the Daiwa BG one for also casting do you think this is a good set up?

Are you using what you have already? Or do you have a shopping budget?

i want to go as cheap as it gets but not that i have bad quality

Spend 300 on a shimano TLD or a penn Squall 2 combo.TLD 20 with a 6' trolling rod is under 300 usd on Amazon.
