Shrinking mint error ?

I found this nickels, the reserve seems to be shrunk.

Nevermind, I think I see now. The one on the left looks a little smaller because the outer rim was compressed into the center. Probably from the rim of a dryer being that’s the most common cause.

I agree, looks like a coin that was stuck in a dryer or worn similarly.
