Pronouncing the t is uncommon in most dialects. There is nothing special about "målet", so most Norwegians would indeed say "måle".

Ok, thanks for your answer. So it has nothing to do with the word after it (like in French where some silent t’s or s’s are pronounced when the next word begins with a vowel).

No, not really. Some people pronounce the t to put emphasize on the word. I also think it's somewhat more common to pronounce it if the word is a possessive - like "målets" or "ordets".
