Fierce pricey hai Food bank donations at Tesco today

Post image

The Larder is in need to donations. I was able to get a good bit for them using multi buy deals with my club card and only spend £20. I also bought toothbrushes and wipes, which were very appreciated. Any hygiene products would be. I should have gotten some feminine hygiene stuff as well but I didnt think.

Anyway, support your local food bank you can.

Hmmm yes, donate food via tesco so tesco can use your donations as a tax relief.

I think it would be better to donate directly so tesco doesn't benefit from your kindness

Hmmmm yes it was donated directly to the Larder. Their people were there and I handed it to them. The Larder is a local food bank and I donate directly the time. So no, the big corporation didnt get a write off.

I think it would be better to ask how the donation was made before assuming.

That's not how taxes or tax relief work.
