State of it Greedy nhs dentists

Is all the dentists in newry greedy bstrds or just the few? Tried joining couple and they said they are not taking on NHS patients at the moment and only doing private treatments, also if you check their reviews a lot of southerners positive reviewing about the cost but locals also. Seems care and compassion is lacking with some of these dentists and they are chasing the money instead. It's a worrying thing that you go to see a doctor and the doctors main interest is how to get money out of you rather than give safe and long term treatment.

Joined one in Portadown recently that takes on NHS patients, just to find that they spend half their time doing private appointments for more money so you have an 18 month wait time as an NHS appointment. Of course the option is there to pay private and get seen quicker, but it's the same dentist, same level of care/experience/ability. I don't understand how they can get away with this. To me it feels like they are all taking advantage of the current situation to line their pockets

Yes exactly, rang 1 yesterday and they told me that they are not taking nhs patients yet would see me privately, it's shameful.
