Depression fucking sucks. I got off my meds for a few days accidentally and wanted to break up with my fiancee, couldn’t get motivation to do my job until like 10 pm, and haven’t put a word on my novel since Tuesday. Now I have to readjust to meds so Im tired and my head hurts 😣

What are you writing? What’s the novel’s genre?

Historical fantasy, basically a widowed vampire has to move on after her husband dies of old age in 1920s Idaho. She meets with other vampires, a wealthy mine owner whose business is mysteriously under attack by an unknown assailant. She and the head vampire’s second hand a Chinese woman vampire who came to Idaho in the gold rush (and the eventual love interest) must investigate, obviously things are not as they seem. In no small part inspired by the long history of strong women dealing with useless, controlling men I grew up reading about in my own family history from my ancestors in 19th century Idaho and Utah. Also vampires are cool to read/write about.
