This is how maps are supposed to look, depopulate rural areas and consolidate them into urban areas. Build solar farms in the old shitty spots

Some people don’t like other people migrating near them

With Italy, that’s a thousands year old thing. Like the time Rome fought an entire tribe migrating who wanted to pass near Italy and settle within the republic
