I really liked Andrew and Nicole, both were super nice and great fans. This was a perfect example of this N&A annoying habit. Neither of these two were expert survivalists. But, both of them obviously prepared for their adventure and worked hard to succeed at the challenge.

Both survivalists had self esteem issues going in and during the challenge. As I said, I liked both people. They did roughly the same things during the challenge. They made fire and caught fish. Nicole made many additional attempts to secure protein. Even though unsuccessful, she tried and that’s often a luck thing. She made a fish basket (not the best, but ok) and she made a couple of snares. She was always on the lookout for snakes. Andrew caught a fish, period.

My main issue was that Andrew refused to hydrate in the beginning and probably would’ve left early on, if she hadn’t boiled so much water and very gently urged him to drink. Right from the start her PSR was over half a point below his. Her PSR was low from the start and the second she felt bad they dropped it by .5. Andrew’s PSR was too high from the start and he wasn’t punished as much for similar failings. They ALWAYS do that and it’s so obnoxious.

Additionally, Nichole was responsible for most of the interesting footage. Not only was she a calm steady presence throughout, she basically narrated the entire episode. It would’ve been pretty boring without her narrations and the footage she shot of herself. Still the show refused to reward her efforts with a reasonable PSR.

Both survivalists had periods of insecurity and self doubt. Near the end it got a little tense between the participants, but I don’t think either was more responsible than the other. Ultimately Andrew was rewarded with a PSR of 7.0 and Nicole was punished with a 6.0. This is so bogus and I’m so sick of it.

I know there are factors the audience isn’t privy to, but given what was shown this time and constantly, it appears there is a penis bonus on this show. Neither of these two deserved a 7. That is a totally inflated PSR rating, just a penis bonus. Just because Andrew has a dick doesn’t mean they need to throw him a bone. I think both of these people should’ve been rated around 6.4 at the most. From what was shown in the episode Nicole should’ve rated slightly higher than Andrew.

I love the show, but am sick and tired of the sexism I am constantly seeing.

Take away Matt's bow and his skill set is just eh. Also, his arrogance is very off putting. If he doesn't get a bowel he whines like a child and on LOS season 1 and 3 he acts like the integrity police when Jeff finds the cache first and gets excited or Patrick steals the fishing line. It's a competition but he wants to dictate that everything be shared. The only one worse then Matt is sticky fingers Dan, who literally goes around saying "you wanna share, you gonna share" like LOS is a team sport instead of a competition.

Steven got paid 6/20/24, pocketed the money and ghosted me. He strung me along to the point I couldn’t even file fraud with PayPal.

Now it’s about principle, and his lack of honesty and decency. This money is gone but I will continue to educate his fans to hopefully prevent others from getting ripped off.

A little caveat, this would have been the 6th painting I purchased from him. I’m not a naked and afraid fan, I don’t watch that type of television, I was a genuine lover of his art. It’s sad to see he switched into scamming mode. It also shows his character that he would do this to a repeat customer.

Long time fan of naked and afraid. I've watched every season.Including the xls and last one standing. When the show first started, part of the appeal was watching regular people attempting to build their strength and prove to themselves that they could withstand the challenge while inexperienced and hungry. I feel that as of late, We are just watching Matt and other experts hunting and killing animals grotesquely. I know matt can hunt, I know he can kill.I don't need to watch another whole season of it.It's boring, predictable and has lost its appeal entirely.I don't want to watch grown men playing in the woods when we already know they can do it all. There is nothing left to prove. Stop putting the same people up on a pedestal. It's boring 😴 bring new rookies back!!! Lol. My opinion.

I love her as a survivalist. But as a person I have to say her being maga really disappointed me. ESP after seeing heather saying that stuff ab bad bunny. It irks me so bad she has such good episodes and was one of my favorite survivors but oh well.

I’ve seen every episode of every Naked and Afraid series, most of them twice. Legends are rare. After this last Apocalypse episode, I’m sure Steven sure isn’t one of them.

Here’s the play-by-play: while Frank and Alexa were sweating it out trying to get a roof, Steven went on his little “hunting trip.” Translation: Steven didn’t want to spend energy helping them but sure knows everything they should do.

When the skies opened, they got caught in the downpour, and instead of digging a trench like any actual survivalist would, he spent his energy bailing water. He should have just spent it on the roof in the first place.

When he did decide to “lead” he put himself and his teammates at risk by putting an extremely heavy door onto an unstable frame. Risking not only their hard work but their safety as well. Zero common sense and zero situational awareness. It won’t be long until the other two see that he’s just talk.

This is the guy Discovery brands as the “King of the Forest”, the mentor, the expert, the legend. Except instead of leading, he was a straight-up liability. Too concerned with protecting his status to actually be a good teammate let alone leader.

Legends don’t hide from the hard work. Legends don’t let the quiet guy — Frank — get all the food and carry the whole build while they humble-brag about past wins and how much they know.

And let’s be honest: surviving a fixed number of days doesn’t make you a legend. Legends like Matt, EJ, Gary, Laura, Darrin and Waz know how to proactively survive. Even if you hate Jeff, you have to put him beat the top of that club.

Steven? He’s proving that a legend card isn’t a lifetime membership. At this point, he’s less “King of the Forest” and more “Lord of the Leaky Shelter.” He gets too much credit for the number of days he’s been out there. What he’s done on those days doesn’t even make the top 100.

Steven, if you’re reading this: take it from someone who’s seen the entire Naked and Afraid canon. Every episode, every season, every survivalist. You’re not acting like a mentor. You’re not even acting like a teammate. Right now, you’re the opposite of a legend: a liability with a crown too small for your head.

I get it everyone ruled Jeff bad for wanting to trade and saying some dickish things to the camera.

But Sarah gets a pass for saying she would skin Jeff and use his hide as a hammock. Cheeny gets a pass for saying she wanted to chop Jeff's balls off Steven gets a pass for essentially screwing Sarah (I don't think it was wrong. Just rude and telling. But just imagine if it was Jeff who'd done it) Waz plants the idea to get Stacey to tap, then lies. (Everyone also seems to forget he called Amber a cunt. I don't even like Amber but come on man) Dan's acting like a middle schooler who just off the bat declared no friends after spending zero time with him ever because Waz told him too. Matt is just being an egotistical asshole.

Through this all, Jeff has always been cordial to them. It's fucking bizarre watching a bunch of adults gang up against one man, because he entered a competition and tried playing it like a competition.

I have lost so much respect for survivalists I've rooted for in every challenge. Survivalists I thought had more integrity.

And I wish both Matt and Waz would stop rambling about playing chess when they can't go 5 minutes without talking about Jeff. I feel like I'm watching MTV The Challenge and not Naked and Afraid.

Im only on season 7 of original naa, and this is just not good television (the episodes where its all about the biting bugs).

I am not the least bit entertained by contestants tapping out within a few days due to bugs, which seems to be a coin flip because some contestants just dont have it nearly as bad depending where they are/body type.

Its really down to luck.

I dont think its fair or makes for good tv to not give them bug spray or something to that effect that is forbidden to be used for starting fire, even if it means not showing it to the audience.

Whatever just give em bug spray off camera so i can watch a good episode of naa.

I know its unlikely but i had to rant.

Just watched the episode, I’m totally blown away with her behavior and the lows she sunk to. Truly a person with no conscience. I was completely disgusted with the “cry about your dad” comment. Absolutely repulsive, low blow that had no context or reasoning, she was just dying to say it. She was abusive to Sean from day one and never let up.

Trish's attitude is awful. People like her bring down teams. What a terrible example. I really hope she finds herself alone.. then she can spend days making beds..comforters..house mittens.. all while complaining to herself. I would go crazy with her entitlement and passive aggressiveness. Certainly not a team member I would be happy with.

I've been following this then the last XL. At first there was no mention of a new season then the producers went to a "creative refresh" response. The creative refresh has been the default answer for the last 2 years or so.

Now it is stated that people are enjoying LOS so much more than XL is most likely not going to happen again. Obviously and untrue statement but that's how they are spinning it.

This information is not confirmed but it is fitting the pattern that I feared.

The great thing about XL was the camaraderie and the tribal instincts that the contestants had amongst each other.

To me LOS is just a survivor rip off that brings out the worst in people as they are fighting amongst themselves. Sad news indeed if true.

Joe’s treatment of Kel is sickening and to watch Amber call it a “clash of personalities” and the act like some hero for escorting Kel to another tribe is so cringy. I feel for Kel and I hope the others are able to see her as a whole person, independent of the weird stuff Joe and Amber have projected onto her.

I wouldnt have such a harsh view of Amber if this wasn’t something we saw her do time and time again. And as for Joe…the one who does church work …some very VERY ungodly behaviour.

True kindness would look like letting Kel take the lead while meeting the new tribe and when prompted, validating the reality that Joe was acting like a bully. Instead, Amber acted like a saviour, put herself as the centre of attention, and acted as though Kel had an equal part in the “clashes of personalities” which gave the others a false-impression that Kel was not a well-adjusted team player.

Don’t order paintings from this guy. He’ll just take your money and ghost you.

Heather spends the whole episode telling her team they really need fire...as if they aren't already trying to build fire the entire time, and keeps telling her team how to do it without ever actually trying to do it herself. Finally at the end of the episode Andrew says what I was saying in my head the entire episode... "then do it!". The people who constantly bicker and talk knowledge but never actually lift a finger to act or apply that knowledge are the worst. Don't talk a game, go play it back at camp, use your fail-proof method and go back to camp and make us that fire you're telling us we need. I feel bad for her team.

I miss Jeff! Bring back Jeff. He’s awesome. Don’t understand why everyone hates him.

Who do the producers think they're fooling? They obviously have the cast talking a lot about animals threatening them, we know at night they are covered by someone with a firearm of some sort it's been brought up before. It's laughable to think that the contestants are worried about an elephant knocking over a 2-ton cage.

All the footage of the crocodiles hippos lions etc are not syncing with the contestants talking about them.

RULE #1: if the animal is not in the frame with the contestants it's not real.

Remember last episode how they showed Joe and the elephant in the same frame like 10 times? That was real, and proves my point.

Getting tired of the whole animal threat thing. just show the contestants fishing scavenging hunting strategizing etc.

If you saw the episode you already know, Dan was fully aware that Dani was going to be medically tapped out. He used that opportunity to specifically ask Dani while she was basically having organ failure for all her things. There was nothing about playing the game in that for me, that was disgusting. Everyone there and everyone that has watched that show knows Dani would have given her items to Gary. She probably doesn’t even remember answering Dan “Can I have all your things?”

I hate to sound like an ass but it was only a matter of time before she got med tapped. I would preferred Lacey give it a go, instead she got immediately eleliminated...

What is up with her?! She is so condescending. Boohoo you touched the tambudi. I love Sean’s looks to the camera whenever she was being mean.

How is Kate even a contestant? She hasn’t made it through even one challenge.

My husband and I were shocked at her selfishness. “Still playing the game”’ my ass.

You all have singled out Jeff for his competitive ways, but ALL of you have been worse human being "survivalists" on this latest competition, then Jeff has in all shows combined. The point is to be a better person than your enemy. None of you have proven that except for Gary. Gary, whom has annoyed me in more ways than one, has surprisingly been the most decent and humane of everyone on the show (Thank you Gary).

The rest of you need to take your misplaced bitterness and anger towards Jeff and look in the mirror instead. He is just one person. He didn't deserve your constant mean girl treatment. Seriously. So disappointing. My respect for the rest of you has washed away. Gone. There was no integrity in your behavior. I don't want to hear any of you complain about Jeff in the future- because you all proved to be worse than him.

Soooo sick of these peckerhead dudes that just put themselves first. The audacity.

I really enjoy this show when people get along and look out for each other and then some cockhead has always got to ruin it. I just want him gone so I can enjoy the damn show again.

I feel like the show doesn''t talk about the disaster that was Jeff's 21 day challenge enough considering they often show other people's failures. He refused to cuddle with his partner for warmth, he burnt down his shelter, and they didn't eat the whole time because Jeff didn't listen to his partner and ruined 2 snakes. I also just generally think he's not a very good survivalist (I mean he's way better than me but compared to the people on the show) he's just really good at not going home. His bush craft isn't good, he can't make a friction fire, he has only killed 1 animal (besides eel) the whole time, but he talks like he's way better than everyone else. He's really just an egomaniac who says any win is because of him and any failure is because of someone else.
