Anton LaVey and his curse
Anton LaVey is the kind of person who gives you the creeps just by looking at him. He was the one who founded the Church of Satan and showed deep devotion toward the devil, that is, Satan. He was good friends with actress Jayne Mansfield, who, by the way, was considered a sex symbol of the 1950s, much like Marilyn Monroe. On one occasion, Jayne's partner, Sam Brody, verbally criticized Anton for performing all these satanic rituals on people and deeply despised him for his activities. Anton was so outraged by this that he cast a curse on the couple. Mansfield and her partner, Sam, suffered a fatal car accident in June 1967, sometime after their encounter with Anton. Was it the curse that struck them, or was it just a bizarre coincidence?

Just quick add that LaVey and that church are atheistic. To clarify, what some may think when you say he had a devotion toward the devil or satan that’s not some evil being; rather a “symbol representing human pride, free will, and rational self-interest”. -wiki

Anti-Christian or even agnostic, but I don't know that if I'd say that LaVeyan satanists are atheistic. There's a lot of magical practice involved, and a lot of that involves working with spirits/deities/higher powers.
To be honest though, I haven't read his Satanic Bible since I was a goth kid in high school, so maybe I'm misremembering.3

No, Atheism and Satan worship are very different. Atheism says there is no God or devil. However, Satan worshippers do believe in God, but they just don't like him.

Yes, this is known as the deception of Satan. Theu certainly didn’t need to use Satan as a symbol. Literary anything else and nobody notices them.

You should read The Satanic Bible. It's not very long and it shows exactly what LeVay believed.
It's not at all what most people think "satanists" to be lol curses and rituals are entirely about emotional catharsis. LeVay thought that true emotional expression as permitted in a ritualized setting is a wonderful psychological outlet for pent up frustration.
LeVay himself is deeply problematic as a person, and the whole Satanic Bible is more of an edge lord's manifesto than anything else, but it's still one of my favorite reads out there and I do subscribe to many of the core tenants of LeVayan Satanism.

Anton did NOT HAVE Dee devotion to the devil. Satanism is an atheistic group and doesn’t believe in any entities- god, the devil or otherwise. You are the god of your own existence and you have the free will to do whatever you want as long as that doesn’t involve ruining someone else’s life. You’re the god of your own existence, but not of anyone else’s.
This is ignorant fear mongering

There's no such thing as curses or magic or any of the mystical bullshit LeVay screamed into a book. He was a melodramatic goon who was as insane as the people he criticized.
What is more likely, the literal movie star was probably drugged up or drunk, or intoxicated like anyone with money and free of responsibility always fucking is, and took a risk that they paid for with their life.
Life is far less magical than people want to believe and the outcome of shit like this can usually be explained away by typical disappointing crap.

Anton LaVey had a daughter who looks like Taylor Swift's twin. There are a lot of people who believe LaVey's daughter was either cloned to become Taylor Swift, or that Taylor Swift is LaVey's daughter re-incarnated.

The driver had a few accidents even before the “curse.” So no, it’s LaVey realizing this moron would probably go on to kill himself and others in a car wreck, because he had such a shitty record. It was just predicting the obvious.
Like predicting someone who rides a motorcycle will have an accident.
It would be like someone putting a curse on Howard Hughes and saying he is cursed and will suffer a crash.
