How could it walk your dog?

One does not ask an amanita how it walks a dog. One simply trusts.

Amanitas can do whatever they want. Eat one and you’ll find out.

(Except please don’t actually eat one)

My first thought too! But I didnt eat it. Not because I didnt want to, but because I dont trust myself with that kind of power.

That and youd probably be projectile vomiting all over the place ...that there is a Amanita... Very poisonous 😅

The toxin is water soluble, so these are safe for culinary use if they're parboiled a few times. Obviously this doesn't apply to all amanitas, not all amanitas are the same when it comes to toxicity.

Edit: I'm not going to provide detailed instructions on how to cook amanita muscaria just because u/RdCrestedBreegal doesn't understand how a conversation works.

it’s more complicated than just parboiling a few times. if you’re going to mention that then you should either mention the full process or should mention that you’re leaving parts out, or else someone could try it and get hurt

it is very toxic, but vomiting is not a common symptom of ingestion, and if it does occur it is not due to the toxins but rather is just because some people get GI symptoms after consuming mushrooms
