Question Beginner Monitors

I apologize in advance as I’m sure this has been asked a ton already..

Looking for some recommendations for desk monitors for some home recording, nothing fancy, for around $200 or under. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

I have two other sets of monitors, and I actually choose these over the Yamahas I have and the JBLs. Pretty amazing sound, especially for this price. I do have a caution for anyone who buys them though.

What caution?

It's a very good sounding system, but obviously it is cheaply made. I expect the knobs on the front of it to stop working (if used a lot). So I don't use them. I power them off from a power strip and I use the volume control of the windows computer and not the volume control on the front. You can have problems with noise when the volume wears out. I don't use these knobs on the front, as I describe and it's lasted a good long time with no real problems.

The JBLs are great for the money.
