Question Best place to self promote music?
Where is the best place to actually post my own music where people will actually bother to click on it and really give it a listen? Without a fee of course.

Where do you go to explore random posted music? That's where you should post 😉

You are a musician, you want to be heard, and at the same time, you don't actively try to hear new things? There's your issue.

Social media. TikTok. Instagram and YouTube reels. But you have to give people a reason to care. Simply posting and hoping it works isn’t enough you have to tap into your audience and make engaging content for them! Hit me up in DM if that sounds good to you

IMO, it doesn't exist.
No one is waiting to support the unsupported on any scale that will get your music to the next level.
As the 'artist' you have to build both demand and narrative.
This means you have to actually compete as there is no ready made audience waiting to hear your stuff you just need someone on Reddit to advise you where to go to get all those eager fans.
You have to build the breakout and few do.
TLDR: Keyword DIY.
