I was in the Air Force with a guy named Pratt.

He was also an utter pratt. He got in trouble for things such as:

  • climbing through the ceiling tiles to get into locked rooms in the NCO Academy. (This earned him the name Spider-Pratt)

  • Doing donuts on the flightline in his personal vehicle (Jeep Cherokee).

His personal motto was "You can do anything you want as long as you're willing to live with the consequences." Very wise man.

Why did he want to get into locked rooms? Just to be a pratt?

I didn't witness the incident, but he was allegedly doing it for altruistic reasons.

One of his friends had accidentally locked their key inside their room, which would have gotten the friend in trouble. But Pratt had the bright idea that he could go through the ceiling tiles and climb over the walls in order to retrieve the friend's key without getting them in trouble.

But he ended up falling through the tiles in the friend's room, causing a big mess and lots of destruction, which is how he got caught and the whole scheme backfired.

This was on his 3rd attempt to pass NCO Academy.
