With 2 caveats here (OTA's don't mean much, and neither does Omar's opinion), both he and Alain remarked today about how good Willie has looked so far at the media accessible practices. Shame to think it might be yet another year where we don't get to see him get many opportunities on the field.

I mean he looked great last year too in camp. Its not like linebacker play was why we were bad last year.

I understand that, and I'm not gonna complain if Brooks gets his money, stays healthy all year and keeps dominating. It's just kind of a bummer to see hyped players riding the bench

linebacker play wasn't the main problem but the depth was straight up tragic once the injuries hit. having an enforcer mentality in the middle is a nice change of pace from watching guys get outworked on every play action.
