He bought a house in Gaithersburg reportedly for his parents.

Regardless, the vast majority of politicians have a second home in the DMV because they spend so much time here.

Must be nice to have so much spare time and dwell on pointless stuff.

This is in response to Nancy Pelosi trying to pull a Steny Hoyer and hand pick a successor. This guy was chief of staff in a congressional office and is now a candidate for a congressional primary

I was under the impression he and Pelosi aren’t fans of each other. He worked for Sanders and AOC, and “decided to leave” within the year after Jeffries went after him for criticizing a Native American congresswoman as being part of the ”New Southern Democrats.”

Chan got the nod from Pelosi, and Wiener is the centrist front-runner. This is more like a Trone run.

(and tbh, I could believe he primarily bought it for his parents because commuting from Crown to DC when you have the money to live in DC or inside the Beltway is clinically insane.)
