At first thought I think of $$ laundering but there is indeed proof in the pudding.

u/voyager1fulgur May 31 '25
naw I know the person who bought it, just a big fan and has the bread, and he really wanted it for his personal collection

Mach is so scammy I wouldn’t doubt that he bought it in someone else’s name just to help drive up his value and mystique. Figuratively speaking I’m not buyin this🤷🏽♂️

u/Dry-Club-492 May 24 '25
Just curious how is Mach scammy
11
u/Lopsided_Use490 May 24 '25
The way he stiffs producers. He makes good music, but is a shitty person.
-1
u/Dry-Club-492 May 24 '25
Stiffed producers really? What happened

Used some Alchemist beats without permission as well
5
u/GROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE May 25 '25
Provide proof for your asinine claims.
1
u/Fickle-Primary-3910 May 25 '25
You can look it up. It’s why him and Al haven’t worked in years. Also largely why Mach was removed from the song Alc produced on A Written Testimony

Nah this is cap. Al has resources so anything of his that is truly without permission, would get pulled down mad quick. Look at how quick they removed that one song from SNL that was w a beat by Ewonee that he didn’t want on there.
My theory is that Mach is not gonna let you run a play on him the way I believe Al will do w other MCs (I’d love to see what the splits and publishing look like on his collab tapes) and that’s why you have Al not working w him and saying little bitch subliminal shit and never saying w his chest that he was taken advantage of, because he wasn’t.

apparently he didn't pay Camouflage Monk for some of his beats on P4H but Camo's been accused of scamming before so idk how true it is
5
u/That-Armadillo8128 May 27 '25
You know the label pays producers right? That was a Griselda release.

u/CressKitchen969 May 25 '25
This is the only scenario that doesn’t really add up, he definitely ripped off Knxwledge for the spook and probably Alchemist for a couple beats though
2
u/SixPointFour May 26 '25
Nah. I like how you say definitely and then you end up being so wrong lol Knxwledge agreed to give the beats for free. The problem lies that Mach didn’t tell Knxwledge that he was going to press vinyls and sell them for like $1000 each lol So Knxwledge went for compensation after the fact and Mach told him to kick rocks

u/CressKitchen969 May 26 '25
So I’m wrong…but you admit there was foul play with the residuals for that album

u/Significant-Art5065 May 24 '25
Did stove had 1 million dollar record also? What happened with that.

when are we gonna learn that this shit aint worth it
2
u/That-Armadillo8128 May 27 '25
Just because it’s not worth it to you, doesn’t mean it’s not worth it to someone else.
2
u/voyager1fulgur May 31 '25
was worth it to my boy, he still happy with the purchase and not missing the 16K (with taxes)

Damn..$625 per MINUTE of that album. Is this just a clout thing? I just listened to it and it didn’t seem like anything special.

Honestly, fans and consumers have to say enough is enough. I get supporting an artist and what an artist has to spend for their career, but at some point, common sense has to enter the room. Once his product got past 100 bucks and ppl kept buying it, I knew it was never coming down. And why would he? If they gonna buy it, he'd be a fool to do otherwise. I fw dude, but I knew supporting his product was out of the question.
1
u/That-Armadillo8128 May 27 '25
This is such a dumb take. You’re already voting w your wallet when you don’t buy. You can also vote w your eyes and mouth(fingers) by not paying attention or talking about it. But what makes this unfair? No one is forcing you to buy it. Should you be able to afford a Basquiat piece just because you really want it?

Would make it the most expensive rap record ever, aside from certain outliers
