"Limerick BEST project"

Post image

According to Google images, in may 2009 18 Davis street had a business on it called Limerick BEST project. This is the building that GOSHH is in now.

Does anyone know what this was? I can't find anything about it on Google and it seems to have no link to GOSHH.

"Limerick BEST Project" refers to the Building, Education, Skills & Teamwork (BEST) Project. It is/was a prominent local training initiative in Limerick designed to assist young people (typically between 17 and 23) from RAPID (Revitalising Areas by Planning, Investment, and Development) areas in Limerick city.

I believe RAPID (Revitalising Areas by Planning, Investment, and Development) was based on Yuppies Urbanizing Rural Terrain (YURT) which was carried out under the Developers Always Yelling Concerning Empty Neighbourhood Taxes (DAYCENT) project in 2006.

Don't forget the good work put in by Against Billionaires Owning Yachts (ABOY) and Keep Intervening against Irish Developers (KIID)
