Music 🎧 I Got That Work

Post image

Wayne related post. If you haven’t heard “I got that work” by Big Tymers, check it out absolute classic of an album front to back and Wayne was going in on all his verses. One of the best and most influential albums in hip hop history. Everybody did their job perfectly. Wayne. BG Fresh. Juve. And Birdman had some great verses..crazy thing is Wayne was 18 rappin like this.

And first album I ever heard. Still in my top five all time

Classic album for sure. I was 12 when it came out and could only get the edited version. Took it to summer camp and had everyone singing songs from it.

I love hearing stories like this. I’m sure this album and those summers shaped your musical ear.

I was 7. Pastor parents. I couldn’t listen to rap like that. But Older brother played this on his book box when they were not around. I sat outside his door everyday imitating Wayne’s flow.
