The issues are indeed intractable, yet the cost of escalation is too high for the region and the US. So it will inevitably 'de-escalate' much sooner than Lebanon, even if the core issues remain unresolved.
In Lebanon, both sides can sustain high-intensity conflict with minimal regional repercussions (we Lebanese be damned). So el ossa kela 3ana hala2

Exactly this is what Israel wants: to terrorize innocent people, destroy homes, kill civilians, and make people feel hopeless enough to start blaming their own people instead of the ones dropping the bombs.
Ya zalame, instead of standing with the people sacrificing everything to defend their land, you're attacking them while the real enemy is literally bombing your villages and families.
Walla sometimes I feel some of you won't understand until, Allah yeb3ed el shar, they occupy every inch of the South and the war reaches your own doorstep. Maybe then you'll understand what Southern families have been living through for decades.
You don't have to agree with everything, but at least know who is bombing your people and who is standing in front of the tanks. Blaming your own people while they're under fire is exactly what the enemy hopes you'll do.
