The immediate question is what specific violations Israel is citing. The ceasefire terms allowed Israeli overflights and gave Israel the right to respond to Hezbollah military activity south of the Litani. If Hezbollah moved weapons or fighters back into border positions, that's the stated trigger. If it's retaliation for rocket fire or something else, the calculus changes.
We've been tracking reported violations from both sides on panopsik.com since the ceasefire took effect Israeli overflights are constant, Hezbollah has denied moving forces south, and there have been sporadic clashes. But targeting Dahieh specifically, rather than southern positions, signals either a major breach or a decision to interpret the terms more broadly. Worth watching whether this is a surgical strike on specific infrastructure or something wider.
