(UK) Lactose Free Skyr Yoghurt

I’ve just come back from The Netherlands where I discovered these beauties - high protein Skyr yoghurt in on-the-go pouches (pretty sure they have them in normal yoghurt pots too).

Honestly it’s been YEARS since I’ve tasted anything that rich and creamy - none of the lactose free yoghurts I’ve tried in the UK can compare (e.g. Arla, supermarket’s own label, Lacto-free).

Has anyone come across these in the UK or know where I can buy them?!

Alternatively, have you got any other great lactose free yoghurt recommendations?

Most Skyrs are lactose free. I eat Icelandic provisions and painterland sisters. Siggis while my favorite is not lactose free.

Ah sadly looks like those brands are all exclusive to North America. I didn’t know that most Skyrs were LF though - I’ll definitely test that out with some of the UK brands on a quiet weekend lol

Ooooohp be careful! Skyrs are only lactosefree if it specifically states it on the packaging! A lot of them are (compared to other types of yoghurt) but plenty still arent. Isey is amazing but not all of their skyr is lactosefree either so please do dubblecheck

Tim’s Dairy Greek Family Kefir and their gorgeous Vanilla Kefir variety are both lactose free and happen to be the best Greek yogurt I’ve ever tasted. Very thick and creamy. I buy mine from Ocado and/or Waitrose.

Or if you’re after a fat free Greek yogurt that’s lactose free, Fage do one. It’s thick too, but understandably not as creamy as Tim’s, which is full fat.

I think you can only buy it from Sainsbury’s or Ocado. But best to check locally.
