Yes yes, I know it’s a TV show. But was Doug just a slob?

Long time lurker first time poster...I don't know if it's been talked about before but the episode where Doug and Deacon won the $5k they had all day to spend a good chunk of it but were struggling...maybe it's my Alabama brain but I was thinking they live in NY and went to Manhattan they could've easily been through that money in no time. Am I wrong?

Was setting up my viewing for tonight and came across one of my favorite episodes “Whine Country” but the name seems to be changed? This is the first time I’ve ever seen this and I’m wondering how it changed since the series is on a syndication loop.

Doug annoyed me on this episode he let his love for that restaurant blind him front the fact that they were wrong

Started watching the show again on Pluto TV. Quick little plug on that — guys use that streaming platform; it’s free, safe, and awesome. You can get it on mobile app or on your Amazon fire stick. Anyway, it’s become part of my daily routine again to watch. I don’t even care about repeats I just enjoy it.

That out of the way — I recognize the following words will have tones of down bad, but genuinely, hopefully people agree! I find it very comforting when Carrie says “baby” to Doug. There’s a couple of ways she’ll say it, like “That’s okay baby”. I really like the reassuring and nurturing vibe. And it’s nice given that half the time she’s portrayed to be more bossy and cold.

Seeing that sweet and kind side of her is warming. And then I just think about having someone like that with me lol. Don’t think I need to elaborate more than that. So yeah, that’s pretty much it!

Then he goes and blames Danny. Who remembers who talked some sense into him?

Sorry for being so vague, but a co-worker mentioned something about fixing a speaker today in a funny way. It instantly reminded me of King of Queens for some reason and I laughed, but he had no idea what I was talking about. Now I think I may be making it up in my head. Was there a line or anything like that? It's been in the back of my head all day.
