"Simple by default, powerful when needed". If KDE team can achieve this, it will shutdown the criticism that KDE is too from other camps for good. In my opinion the defaults in KDE are already good, but certain applications can be decluttered and restructured. Apart from that, refining visual design will seal the deal that Plasma is the best desktop on the market.

Rust integration is also the right thing to do to further the reach of KDE.
