My 1995 WaveRaider 1100 has a really weird issue.

(Still all original, 74 hours, no oil pump, mix it myself)

Whenever I want to go full throttle from low RPM it bogs down, shuts off and doesn’t move at all. I have to play with my throttle and sometimes add the choke to pick up RPM.
When I go faster then 7 mph this problem disappears and it feels super fast and healthy…

This has been a constant issue since 2023, and then I knew I had a bad cylinder (slightly lower compression).
Last summer, that cylinder (no.3) gave up and the piston split in half.

I completely rebuilt my top end (new cylinder, pistons, piston rings etc.) and was certain the bogging issue was gone.

However, it is still there, exactly the same…

Anyone else had this issue, or can help me fix this?

TL;DR :

Engine bogs at full throttle at low RPM, issue is gone when going above 7 mph. Engine sounds healthy and jetski is still fast and normal.

My jet ski has a pretty big mold problem. The whole interior front by the storage bay is completely covered in a white crusty mold like substance what’s the best way to clean this?

My buddy just picked up a pair of 2003 1200 turbo Hondas and trailer for 7k and wants to know how he did on the deal. Bodies are in good beside some surface scuffs, are mechanically solid.

What do you guys think??

I have a 2008 seadoo gti130
The dash is a little messed up so hard to see lights but it’s making a loud long beep noise when started and mainly while riding now it has gotten much more persistent beeping for 5 or so seconds every 20 or so seconds. Only thing I have seen is it displays “SENSOR” as well as(on rare occasion) flash the oil light and or the fuel light oil level looks good and new. I have looked at oil,spark plugs fuel, battery voltage and I can’t seem to find anything wrong

Engine runs good and can still hit around 55 or so mph

Flushed my 2012 stx 15f and noticed what looks like a leak near the driveshaft / between motor and impeller. On my ride I didn’t notice water leaking in the hull. Is this normal? am I cooked?

Is this normal? I just picked this ski up and tried to get rid of the play but if I tighten any more I can’t steer, is the pin too small it’s the right size for washers but too small for the plate the bars sit on, is there a little sleeve that should be in there for the plate or is this how it should be, my superjet is not like this

Me and a buddy bought an 1100 ZXi and 900 ZXi and they came with a bunch of other parts. The motor was messed up on the 1100 and the hull was in bad shape on the 900 so we transplanted the 900 guts over the 1100. So NOW, we have all the stuff that was pulled out of the 1100, plus the stuff left on the 900, plus all the extra parts we had before. Went through and kinda priced out what some of the major stuff is worth. Came up with around $1400 for the top 10-12 items, if they were sold individually.

What would you sell all this stuff for together? Or would you piece some of it out and sell separately on eBay or locally?

i am located in Melbourne Australia and bought a new kawasaksi stx 160. i only used it twice and have clocked up 3 hours. i have only used the the ski in salt water and have flushed it and washed it with a anti salt product and a sponge each time. I always make sure to hose down the engine and if anything looks dirty I will give it a sponge. I also apply lanox spray to the engine and jet pump.

I just cant seem to get all the salt off. No matter what I try there is still salt. The ski has been siting for 2 months now and I just had a look and there seemed to be some bolts in the engine with salt crystals around them. Also at the back of the ski there is two screws that seem to be rusted near the boarding step of the ski.

Is this normal and if not what should I do? How do I avoid this happening in the future. After my experience I honestly don’t want to go in salt water againe

Forgive my ignorance, these are my first skis and I don’t know a ton about them. Do I need to repair these spots in the hull or is this considered cosmetic damage? If so any recommendations on the best way to go about it?

Does anyone pull a tube with their seadoo 170?

This is a 2013 Yamaha supercharger Fz-s I just bought the jet ski and in the first day I almost sunk because this, the video show where the water is coming from (the video is upside down but I think you can understand the view), I put my hand and I fell like a rubber piece I guess is like a gasket that is moving, could you guys help me understand what piece is the problem and around how much it will cost me please.

Really just looking at the black one. Its an early 2000 maybe an 01?. Virage TX sti 1200. With just over 100 hours. The red one has some issues. It supposedly will run with a little work, but the owner basically wants to just cut it up and scrap it. So the deal is 2300 for both, and the trailer. The black one runs pretty good. Its got a little bog when you start it, but once you get going it runs great.

Do you think 2300 is a solid deal for these?

Riva Stage 2 and some other things. Put the K Speed intake grate on which is probably lowering my top speed a bit. Going to swap back to stock this weekend and see if that helps.

I bought the Yamaha GP800r 2001 second hand and replaced the starter motor, relais and the bendix. When I start it it start but it takes some time bofore the engine kicks in. Battery has been charged. Also when I press the gas handle, it does not accelerate directly, high revs but it takes some time to kick in and go. So I lower the throttle and after some time it does pull off/kick in and go.

I also have a question how to best set the carbs. It runs but I want to finetune it to run more smoothly. Any tips?
