Post image

I can’t find this style of fuse anywhere? Has this style been replaced?

It just looks like a glass tube fuse to me. But to find a replacement you would need to post the specs.

I wasn’t sure it mattered considering the strange design.

I've been to 7 places and no one carries this size/style. I even called my Yamaha dealership and nothing. Ideas?

What the heck, I can measure some and find the size.

It’s a 30mm. I can find them online just didn’t think it would be this difficult

Yamaha used an odd size in the old 2 strokes. Most dealers stock them....

Have you already burned the spare replacement fuse in the ski?

After lots of research and buying who knows how many fuses, in line fuse assemblies I think I finally found a solution. Amazon sells a 6x25mm 10amp ceramic fuse which should replace this one. It is a fast blow versus a slow blow but I also bought a 20mm inline fuse assembly in case the fuses don't work. Again this is the inline fuse in a 1996 Yamaha Waveraider 1100 in case this question ever comes up again. I've also attached the link to the fuse for other Yami owners. 2 stroke or die!
