Mutual Aid

Are there any organizations that offer a hot meal to folks in need? I’m specifically looking to avoid things that require a performance of any kind to receive help (ex: proof of low income, sitting through a sermon first, etc)

Please no churches

I want to donate/ share

All the Catholic Churches have food banks. You call their office or show up at their church offices and ask, they will happily give.

In Flowood, the Library that sits on Winner Circle Park, there’s a white cabinet in the foyer- it’s got food and toiletries for those in need. You take what you need. The lady who runs it accepts donations, but they get lost of their stuff through Amazon.

Most of the libraries have something like that too is what she said.

But as far as a hot meal… I don’t know of one. Maybe Salvation Atmy.
