Much construction work going in the Wexford/Wicklow area?

Hi all,

So my partner is having our first baby in October and I need to bring more money in. Seems to be quite good money in construction I have a Forklift Ticket, and can go for a Cscs Telehandler Ticket. I'm also been interested in getting myself a 360° Excavator Ticket as well. I have no experience but am happy to get the novice ticket but would it be a struggle to get 6 months experience under my belt to then go for the full cscs ticket?

I'm also just wondering if there's much construction machinery work going in the Wexford/Wicklow area? There seems to be lots of construction work but very little on Indeed.

Not a lot of housing in Wicklow, planning restraints. Outside Arklow there’s a new school going in and a couple of solar farms if that’s any good.

Gorey there’s usually a lot housing coming up.

Is that solar farm going ahead? Havnt seen much action down the quay where the offices are supposed to go

That’s the wind farm. Snails pace on that one.

The big solar farm up off J20 is nearly finished. It’s huge
