I didn’t, but I hope a few hundred apple pencils ship out with it from my posts. Before this I tried searching for engraving ideas and whatever came up was pretty lame

Yes 100% yes in fact sometimes I feel so petty that I just want to buy Apple things with free engraving because they say it doesn't affect returns and then just return them with ridiculous things like this

lol that’s where I was confused too. to the best of my knowledge you can trade in engraved pencils but not return it unless it has some issue.

Not that I have any intention of reselling, but if anything this will increase the resale value if anything just going by the approval rate on reddit. a good, relatable yet non personal engraving can very well enhance the resale value.

No, buy a third party one (Baseus) and have 90% of the functions. Uou dont need the fancy Apple Pro if you ask these questions 😜

too much judgement. also I would buy anything else in a jiffy but nothing else is as easy as charging on the side of the iPad. Years back, I had the go apple pencil and that charged weirdly but at least I could still charge it from the iPad - I dunno whose idea was it to make something like the pencil charge with a separate usb port of its own.
