Discussion Wedding

I am going to a wedding this summer. My nephew, I like him and his future wife. Sweet people.

My problem is I am an introvert. 😁

I am old and I have a hard time hearing in crowded, loud situations. Which makes it even worse. I am trying to figure out how to get through this. Last wedding I went to was torture.

I work in an ENT office and I can tell you that the big box store hearing aids are absolute crap. However, if the wedding is close, grab a set. Look for the ones that connect to your phone that you can control the ambient noises with them. It helps to dim the background noise and louden the speech. Edit to add on: what about earplugs like Loop?
