I live in north HB close to the border of the city, by the industrials / marina HS. I’ve been sleeping with my window open at night, and this morning I woke up with a headache and sore throat, not sure if there’s a sickness going around or if it’s from the chemical spill and the wind? Just wondering if anyone has noticed anything similar in the area

Yesterday afternoon, my friends parked near the restrooms at Huntington State Beach and set up between Lifeguard Towers 5 and 6, closer to the shoreline and directly in front of the snowy plover reserve area (see photo).

At some point during the afternoon, his gold wedding band went missing. We know the odds are tough, but we’re hoping someone with a metal detector may be willing to search the area.

• In front of the plover bird reserve
• Near the soft sand towards the shore side of the beach

It's been parked in downtown HB near the corner of Main and Walnut for over 10 years. Someone has to know something about it because it never had a parking ticket and it's never been towed.

Soooo I’m in my late 20s, pushing 30 and for the last year I’ve been trying to find a place to go out and meet people to date. Ditched the dating apps. Where do all the late 20-30 year olds go out at? Minus the gym and church because I already go to those places lol.

Hey everyone, I’m moving to Huntington Beach this weekend (near Adams & Beach Blvd) and pretty excited for a new chapter.

I grew up in OC (Irvine/Lake Forest area), moved to Vegas for the last few years, and now finally making my way back to California.

I know HB isn’t that different from the rest of OC, but being a couple miles from the beach feels like a pretty different lifestyle than what I’ve been used to lately.

Would love any recommendations, hidden gems, local advice, favorite food/coffee spots, things that are overrated, summer activities, good places to meet people, etc. Basically anything you think someone new to the area should know or experience.

Excited for summer and to be back in OC again.

Hello!! I just made this account 30 seconds ago haha. Basically, I'm working on a short film, and need to shoot inside of Bar, and a Restaurant.

The bar does not need specific geographical requirements.

The restaurant, however, needs to be neighboring either a club, or a building in which the front door/ area in front of the door can be easily passable as the entrance of a club. Also, if possible, allow parking that is somewhat Perpendicular to the doors of the restaurant, Anything helps!!
